I don't get it. I've seen vintage guitars before and they are always smelly and look awful. They say that the tone of an old guitar is better, but these things get amplified. I don't know why they are so much other than they are rare. I have a Jackson guitar that I paid $199 for and it is my most playable guitar. It's just so cool. If you look in ebay, there is a Les Paul that is selling for $185,000.
